Privacy policy

This policy covers Inclusive Programs Guide and the public forms, saved-list features, analytics, maps, ads, and operational tools used to run the site. It does not cover provider websites, registration systems, payment pages, maps, advertisers, school systems, agencies, or other third-party services that you open from a listing.

Inclusive Programs Guide is not a healthcare provider, school, health plan, insurer, therapist, legal service, or care coordinator. Please do not submit information expecting HIPAA, FERPA, school-record, therapy-record, or medical-record handling. If a provider, school, agency, or medical professional needs private information, share it directly with them through their own secure process.

When you suggest a program, report outdated information, send feedback, or request a provider update, we may collect the details you enter, such as your name, email address, role, organization, website or source links, page URL, listing slug, report type, and message text.

If you email us directly, we may collect your email address, name, message, attachments, and any related follow-up so we can respond, review the issue, and keep a reasonable record of the conversation.

Please do not submit child names, dates of birth, school names, diagnoses, therapy history, medical history, photos, insurance details, IEP details, or other sensitive child or family information. The forms are designed to reject common sensitive details, but you are responsible for keeping private information out of submissions.

When you search or filter the directory, we may process search terms, categories, states, cities, counties, ZIP codes, page URLs, and similar browsing choices so the site can return useful results and improve coverage.

The guide does not currently ask for precise GPS location from your device. If you type a ZIP code, city, county, or "near me" style search, that information is treated as a search input, not as an account profile.

Search boxes should not be used for private details about a specific child or family. Use general words such as adaptive swim, sensory-friendly activities, wheelchair sports, parent support, city, county, or ZIP code.

Because the guide covers disability-related topics, some searches may include words related to disability, diagnosis, accessibility, or support needs. We use those terms to return directory results, understand coverage gaps, and improve search quality. We do not use search terms to create user accounts or individual family profiles.

Listings are built from public websites, public agency pages, provider-submitted updates, source checks, and review notes. We may publish factual program information, source links, public contact details, public addresses, and last-checked dates.

We do not publish the personal contact information of people who submit corrections or feedback unless that same information is already public provider contact information or you clearly ask us to use it as a public listing contact.

We use submitted information to review and verify updates, respond when appropriate, improve listings, prevent spam or abuse, and keep an audit trail for directory changes.

Form submissions may be stored in our database and may also generate an email notification to the site operator. Email replies may come from an Inclusive Programs Guide address or from the operator's connected email account.

Submitted source links, correction text, and public listing details may be reviewed by humans and tool-assisted workflows. Do not send confidential or sensitive child information, because review tools are meant for public-source directory work.

If a listing includes incorrect public contact information, a broken link, a location mistake, a source that no longer says what it used to say, or information that should not be public, you can send a report or email us.

We may review public sources, provider websites, emails, submitted links, and internal review notes before changing or removing a listing. We try to avoid publishing private personal information and will review removal requests when a listing creates a reasonable privacy, safety, or accuracy concern.

We may collect technical information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, referrer, error details, and hashed identifiers used for rate limiting. Rate-limit identifiers are created from request data such as IP address and browser information so we can reduce spam and protect public forms.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or database can guarantee perfect security. Please avoid sending private or sensitive information through the site.

If an administrator signs in to private review tools, authentication cookies and session information may be used to keep that admin session secure. Public browsing does not require an account.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand page views, routes, referrers, general location, device type, browser, operating system, and performance information. Vercel states that Web Analytics stores anonymized data and does not use cookies for visitor tracking.

We may also track limited product events, such as using share buttons or saved-list features, to understand whether the guide is useful. We do not intentionally send email addresses, child details, or sensitive family information in analytics events.

We also avoid using analytics to build individual family profiles. Aggregate usage helps us see which pages are confusing, which searches need better coverage, and which features are actually helping visitors.

Saved listings and local guide preferences are stored in your own browser using local storage. That information helps you keep a shortlist on the same device. It is not an account and is not meant as permanent storage.

You can remove saved listings in the guide or clear them by clearing your browser's site data for Inclusive Programs Guide.

Public browsing does not require a login cookie. The site may still use browser storage, consent signals, performance scripts, security controls, and advertising technologies needed for normal operation, saved lists, analytics, maps, ads, and abuse prevention.

You can control many cookies and similar technologies through your browser, device settings, Google ad settings, and any consent message shown on the site. Blocking some technologies may affect saved lists, maps, ads, analytics accuracy, or admin sign-in tools.

The site may show Google AdSense ads. Google and other advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads, limit ad frequency, measure ad performance, protect against fraud, and, when allowed by your settings and applicable law, personalize ads.

Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services in Google's partner-sites notice. You can manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center and manage many browser cookies in your browser settings.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google requires publishers using AdSense to make certain disclosures and use a Google-certified consent management platform where required. A consent message may appear in those regions before personalized ads or certain ad cookies are used.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may treat certain advertising or analytics activity as "sharing," targeted advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising. You can use browser controls, Google ad controls, and any consent message shown on the site to manage those choices.

Because the guide covers disability-related topics, we are careful not to create ad audiences or custom ad targeting based on a visitor's disability, diagnosis, child, support need, search query, saved listings, or program interests. Ads may still be selected by Google or advertisers using their own systems, page context, consent choices, browser settings, and applicable law.

We may share or process information with service providers that help run the site, such as hosting, database, email, analytics, performance, spam prevention, maps, advertising, and security providers. Those providers process information only as needed for their services and under their own terms and privacy practices.

Current service categories may include:

• Vercel for hosting, performance, deployment, and privacy-preserving web analytics;
• Supabase for database storage and private review records;
• Resend and connected email routing tools for form notifications and email delivery;
• Google services for AdSense ads, maps or directions links, Search Console, and related site tools;
• GitHub and development tools used to maintain the public website code and deployment workflow.

We do not sell lists of submitter emails, provider-update contacts, or feedback senders. We also do not share those contacts with listed providers for marketing.

We may also disclose information if needed to comply with law, protect the site, respond to security or abuse issues, enforce these terms, or protect the rights, safety, or property of users, providers, the site, or others.

Listing pages may show a Google Maps preview when we have a public street address. Area-only listings explain when a precise address is not available. Opening a map, directions, registration page, source page, or third-party website may send information such as the page you came from, your IP address, browser information, or the map search query to that third party.

Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices. We do not control provider websites, Google Maps, Google AdSense, Vercel, Resend, Supabase, or other infrastructure providers.

The guide is intended for adults, parents, caregivers, providers, and community members. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

If you believe a child's personal or sensitive information was submitted to the site, email us and we will review it for deletion or correction.

If a younger visitor uses the site, they should do so with a parent, guardian, caregiver, teacher, or other trusted adult.

We do not knowingly use child-submitted personal information for advertising, profiling, or directory publication.

We keep submissions, reports, feedback, email notifications, operational logs, and review records for as long as reasonably needed to operate the guide, verify public information, resolve corrections, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and improve directory quality.

You may ask us to delete or correct personal information you submitted by emailing hello@inclusiveprogramsguide.com. We may need to keep limited records when necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal reasons, or source-review history.

Service providers may process or store data in the United States or other countries where their systems operate.

You can choose not to submit optional form fields, avoid sending sensitive details, clear local saved listings from your browser, block or clear cookies, use Google ad controls, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information you submitted.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or an opt out of certain targeted advertising or sharing activity. If you contact us about a privacy request, we may ask for enough information to verify and process the request.

Some choices must be handled through third-party controls, such as Google ad settings, browser cookie settings, or a consent message shown on the site. We will help with what we can control directly.

Depending on your state, you may have privacy rights related to access, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of certain targeted advertising or sharing. These rights vary by law and may not apply to every visitor or every type of data.

To make a request, email hello@inclusiveprogramsguide.com with enough detail for us to understand the request. If we deny a request, you can reply and ask us to review the decision again.

We do not discriminate against visitors for exercising privacy rights. We may still keep information when needed for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or source-review history.

If Inclusive Programs Guide is reorganized, transferred, merged, sold, or operated by a new entity in the future, information related to the site may transfer as part of that change. If that happens, the privacy policy may be updated to explain the new operator and any material changes in how information is handled.

We may update this policy as the guide expands, especially when we add or change production services, forms, advertising, analytics, provider workflows, or security tools. The "Last updated" date will show when this page changed.
